This data is usually collected from you when, you opt-in to create an account, make an order request to purchase goods or services, complete a contact form, enter a prize draw or other competition, request newsletters, request assistance from Customer Support, request a return of a purchase or participate in other activities in which require the collection of information.

Usage

We use these details to administer your Account, process order requests, and conduct correspondence with you to offer the best service that we can.

There are certain apsects of the ordering process where we will need to contact you these range from but are not exclusively: order confirmations and updates.

The sign-up pages of the website where you first create an account, and/or make an order request, contains “opt-in” boxes so that you can receive e-mail newsletters and general marketing information that may be useful.

Each marketing e-mail will offer an “opt-out” if you wish to stop receiving such informative emails.

The data that we collect is limited in scope and used for the purposes to which it is intended, e.g.  that where we have been given permission as required to process order requests and/or deliver the services you require/request.

Additional Information

To ensure the we give optimal performance we also collect some additional  background information such as your account number, purchase history, and email correspondence with us.

Cookies & Analytics

We also use tracking cookies to manage sessions, e.g. when you move between pages or place a product in the shopping cart then the information is stored in the session variables. (see Cookies below)

We also use Website analytic tools, Google Analytics about how you interact with the website. Such data is collected en masse and anonymised for analysis purposes

Sharing Data

Your data is selectively shared only with specified Companies necessary to the process of fulfilling your order requests and requirements. Such as Couriers (e.g. Royal Mail, DHL, DPD etc) and Payment Service Providers (e.g. SagePay & Paypal ) and then only to the extent of their own specialized service as part of the retail or delivery function to provide the products & services you have requested. 

These third parties are all subject to the same strict data processing rules. 

Rights to your data

If you find any inaccuracies, let us know promptly and we will delete or correct any verified information.  Such corrections must be verified by anti-fraud detection methods (which are variable) to protect your personal information from malicious third parties & data theft.

Retention

Your data will only be kept on file for as long as you require it to be, or as long as legally required, e.g. by Companies House or HMRC.

Please note that we are also mandated by law to maintain records in order to discharge any future obligations that are required by and for such legal compliance or statutory functions such as subpoenas, property rights, safety, or to prevent/stop illegal activity.

Marketing

Your data is confidential, it is not and will not be offered to any Marketing Companies for use. It is held securely in the UK.  Should any circumstances arise whereby it becomes necessary to transfer data outside the UK, we will always seek your consent first.
